

Heirloom Reflections
My most recent still life is one I've wanted to paint for a long time. The old weathered medical books belonged to my great grandfather and then my grandmother as did the silver water jug and silver spoon. It was a fun challenge to try to capture the reflections in the silver jug and the beautiful mahogany table. The delicate cup and saucer was a gift from my daughter so these items had special meaning. Im sure it will be in a show soon and when its decided where in the world


Can you guess what AIMAE means?
It's actually an acronym for "Annual International Mail-In Art Exhibition." The Federation of Canadian Artists in Granville Island hosts an international show every year so that wherever in the world artists submit from, if chosen, all you do is mail your painting to the gallery and they are framed upon arrival. All works are to be 8 x 10 inches and with over 200 works currently hanging in the Federation Gallery. They sure had their work cut out for them on this one! Below is


Check out the new Burlington Centre!
Originally my paintings on display at the new Burlington Centre, were going to be up until the end of January 2019, but due to an overwhelming positive response, they will continue to be exhibited until the end of June, 2019. If you haven't had the chance to check out the new and improved centre, I hope you do so because our community is even better with our former Burlington Mall going through such a gorgeous transition! Sharing a few photos from my Opening Reception in New York this past weekend. Art Tour International's Top 60 Masters 2019, gathered to celebrate an exciting exhibition at the Viviana Puello Gallery.
