Heirloom Reflections

My most recent still life is one I've wanted to paint for a long time. The old weathered medical books belonged to my great grandfather and then my grandmother as did the silver water jug and silver spoon. It was a fun challenge to try to capture the reflections in the silver jug and the beautiful mahogany table. The delicate cup and saucer was a gift from my daughter so these items had special meaning. Im sure it will be in a show soon and when its decided where in the world its going, please check back and I will definitely post it in my blog.
