Earls Court Gallery Exhibition
Two of my paintings were recently part of FCA Toronto's 'A Slice of Life' exhibition at Earls Court Gallery on Ottawa Street in Hamilton. It's always a pleasure to be part of an exhibition, especially on Ottawa street, as I spent many good times there because my parents owned and operated a business for many years. Unfortunately I've taken a little time off due to the passing of my beautiful mother. Literary Magic includes some of my favourite books such as "Power vs. Force," "Quantum Physics," "The Healing Messages in Water," and "The Akashic Field" These are often referred to as "integrative consciousness" or "consciousness studies." These books typically explore the intersections of science, spirituality, and consciousness, examining how these fields relate to human experience, healing, and the nature of reality.
Mr. White Shoes: The Charlies Juravinski Story, is a painting I originally created for my friend and mentor, Charles Juravinski's 90th birthday. "Charlie" built Flamboro Downs, a harness racing track in Hamilton, Ontario, in the late 1970s, capitalizing on his entrepreneurial spirit and passion for horse racing. The success of Flamboro Downs played a significant role in his financial success, enabling him to make substantial philanthropic donations to healthcare and education in the Hamilton area. My husband and I were close friends with him and his beloved Margaret so I felt it only fitting to exhibit the painting in the city they not only called home, but the city that the couple truly loved.
