Resonance Exhibition at The Link at Innovation Park, Waterloo,

I’m pleased to share that I have three paintings included in Resonance, a Central Ontario Art Association (COAA) exhibition at The Link at Innovation Park in Waterloo.

The show runs from September 17 to December 17, and brings together work by COAA artists in a shared exhibition setting. I’m grateful to have these three pieces included, and I wanted to make a small space here on the blog to mark the occasion and share the paintings that are part of the show.

Why Seeing Art in Person Still Matters

A photo can show you what a work of art looks like. Standing in front of it shows you how it feels.

That difference matters. Images on a screen are useful, generous, and often beautiful. They help people discover artists, remember exhibitions, and share work with others. Still, seeing art in person offers something a photo cannot fully carry: scale, texture, silence, space, and the small surprise of being there.

Art changes when we meet it face to face.

If you're in the Kitchener-Waterloo area, I hope you get the change to experience all the beautiful artwork in this show.
