Wendy Carmichael Bauld, SCA, AFCA

Wendy Carmichael Bauld is an established international artist based in Burlington, Ontario, Canada, known for her diverse artistic practice that includes still life, figurative, landscapes, and mixed media. She has exhibited her work extensively around the world, showcasing her broad appeal and recognition in the art community.  

Her formal art education and continuous professional development span several decades. Starting in the mid-1970s, she studied Art History and multiple art techniques at the Art Gallery of Burlington and other institutions. Her training includes courses and workshops in oil painting, figure drawing, pastel, watercolour, and mixed media. Notably, she attended the Artist Residence in Bargemon, France, in 2019, and has studied specialized methods such as the Munsell Colour System and The Carder Method for oil painting.

Wendy was elected to the Society of Canadian Artists, The Federation of Canadian Artists and has participated in numerous exhibitions throughout Canada and Europe. She is represented by Beddington Fine Art Gallery in France.
